Welcome to the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) for Celebrate EDU (“Celebrate,” “we”, “us” or “our”). We own and operate a suite of a proprietary programs designed to educate people who are affected by autism or other intellectual and developmental disabilities in business and entrepreneurship (the “Programs”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose information about you related to your access to and use of our website www.celebrateedu.org (together with any successor site, the “Website”) and the content, tools features, functionality and other materials, including all content, tools, features, functionalities and materials made available as part of the Programs, in each case, which are offered on or through the Website (collectively with the Website, the “Services”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” refer to you, as a user of the Website.

UPDATING THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time in which case we will update the “Posted” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we make changes, such changes will be posted on this page. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to this Privacy Policy. The updated Privacy Policy will be effective as of the time of posting, or such later date as may be specified in the updated Privacy Policy or as required under applicable law.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information You Provide. We collect information you provide to us through or in connection with the Services, such as:

  • your name, phone number and email address when you contact us (e.g., through the “Contact Us” feature, chat feature, or via email) or provide it to donate, apply for, purchase, host or participate in a Program;
  • your credit card number, card verification code, and mailing address when you donate to us through the Website; and
  • when you enter your username, password and security questions in order to create an account on the Website to access and use the Programs.

Information We Collect Automatically:

  • Aggregated data. Each time a visitor comes to the Website, we collect aggregated queries for internal reporting and also counts, tracks, and aggregates a visitor’s activity into our analysis of general traffic flow at the Website. We may also remove personal identifiers from such information and maintain it in aggregated form which may later be combined with other information to generate anonymous, aggregated statistical information.
  • IP Addresses. An IP address is automatically assigned to a computer by an Internet Service Provider. An IP address may be identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever a user accesses the Website, along with the time of the visit and the page(s) that were visited. We use IP addresses for purposes such as determining Website usage levels, diagnosing issues with the Services, and otherwise for administering the Website. We may also use IP addresses to derive approximate location.
  • Browser and device Information. Certain types of information are collected by browsers and/or automatically through devices. This information may include Internet browser type and version, Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Mac), screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, and the name and version of the Website being used. We use this information to ensure that the Website functions properly.
  • Information collected through cookies, pixel tags and other tracking technologies. When you visit our Website and use the Services, we collect certain information by automated means using cookies, pixel tags, browser analysis tools, server logs and web beacons. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to a user’s computer for purposes of storing information about a user’s preferences. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s computer. We use cookies to improve your online experience when using the Services. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We may share your information as set forth below. Unless you give us permission to do so, we will not share your information other than as specified in this Privacy Policy.

  • Disclosures to Third Parties Assisting In Our Operations. We may share your information with companies that work with us, or on our behalf, to provide products and services.

We may share, publicly or privately, anonymized or aggregated information collected or created through the Services in any manner permitted by applicable law. If we share such information, we will do so in a manner such that no individual can be identified.
  • Disclosures Under Special Circumstances. We may disclose your information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, legal process or governmental regulations, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We may also disclose your information if we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.
  • Mergers or Acquisitions. We may share your information with other entities in connection with the sale, assignment, merger or other transfer of all or a portion of our operations to such entity. We will require any such successor entity to honor the terms of this Privacy Policy.

REFERRALS/LINKS
The Website may contain links to third-party websites that may offer information of interest. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites, and we recommend reviewing those websites’ privacy policies individually. We assume no responsibility for any material outside of the Website, including any website that may be accessed through a link from the Website.

SECURITY
Please note that information you send to us electronically may not be secure when it is transmitted to us. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us. We take measures we believe are reasonably designed to protect the information we receive from you from unauthorized access, use and alteration. Unfortunately, no data transmission, software, or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We believe that a persistent attacker with sufficient resources would be able to defeat our security measures. Therefore, we provide no guarantee that your information will remain secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please notify us immediately in accordance with the “Contact Celebrate” section below. If we learn of a breach of its systems, we may notify you or others consistent with applicable law and as agreed. By using the Services or providing information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Services and your information.

RESPONSE TO “DO NOT TRACK” SIGNALS

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY PROTECTION
• Under Age 13. We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy in the interactive online world. The Website is not designed for, or intentionally targeted at, children 13 years of age or younger. No one under the age of 13 should submit any information to us and/or the Website. If your child has sent us information about them and you would like it removed, please send an e-mail to hello@celebrateEDU.org requesting removal.
• Under Age 18. Minors under 18 years of age may have the information that they have provided to us through the Website deleted by sending an e-mail to hello@celebrateEDU.org requesting deletion. Please note that, while we make reasonable efforts to comply with such requests, deletion of your information does not ensure complete and comprehensive removal of that data from all systems.

CALIFORNIA
We do not share personal information as defined by California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 (“Shine the Light Law”) with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

CHANGES
You may review and request changes to your information that we have collected, including the removal of your information from our databases in order to prevent receipt of future communications, using any of the following options:
