We are thrilled to announce that we are now offering a new program called Kindling Workshops! They are a fun and interactive introduction to entrepreneurship. We hosted our first one this month in partnership with the Broomfield Workforce Center. Here is a breakdown of what the workshop entails
What to Expect in Our New Kindling Workshops
Students begin working in small groups to design a simple popcorn business determining their business name, logo, customers, competition, competitive advantage, and how to talk about their business idea.Â
Then students work through business etiquette by practicing handshakes and understanding the Do’s and Don’ts of interacting with business contacts. Next, they complete an entrepreneurial traits assessment and an interest survey to learn more about themselves. This also helps them think about entrepreneurship as a possibility for their future and introduces a few business ideas they could pursue.
